THE THINKING BEHIND THE NUMBER
How to use this calculator
Build up the cost of one order, then select a target margin. Payment percentage and tax treatment affect the amount retained from a customer-facing price.
A practical example
For illustration, enter product cost ₹300, packaging ₹20, shipping contribution ₹70, payment fee percentage 2%. With the remaining fields at their starting values, the price for target margin is ₹573.53. Replace these sample figures with your own numbers before making a decision.
How to read your result
A mathematically viable price still needs a market, demand and tax review. This is not tax advice.
Use the result alongside your store analytics, product costs and operating context. If the inputs are estimates, treat the output as an estimate too. Change one input at a time to understand what drives the result.
